Thassos Vacation Rentals does not participate in any financial transactions between tenants and property owners.Thassos Vacation Rentals simply processes your booking through the system and automatically emails you the details to complete the financial transaction between you and the owner, and nothing more.
  • It’s crucial to understand that our team is dedicated to maintaining transparency and is always open to providing assistance and guidance in the resolution of any issues that may arise. Our aim is to facilitate a smooth resolution process for both tenants and property owners, ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved.

  • Our team reviews and approves property and service listings before they appear on our website. This is done to ensure that the information provided aligns with the reality of the property or service. Thassos Vacation Rentals does not independently verify every detail but relies on the accuracy of the information presented by property owners or service providers.
  • It is crucial for property owners and service providers to present truthful and up-to-date information. Thassos Vacation Rentals aims to maintain a platform where guests can rely on the accuracy of the details presented.

3.Financial Policy and Refund Procedures

  • If you need to cancel a reservation and request a refund, please follow the Refund Policy provided by the property owners and services. Any issues related to this should be discussed directly with them. We do not take responsibility for financial matters. However If, according to the terms set by the property owners, a customer is eligible for a refund and there are disagreements on these matters between the customer and the property owner, we step in and proceed based on the terms and conditions outlined on the website to ensure a fair resolution.
  • Our team is available to offer guidance and assistance as much as possible to resolve any issues. However, we do not handle financial matters. It is your responsibility to negotiate and agree on financial terms with the property owners and services. We are here to support and facilitate these discussions to the best of our ability.
  • Refund Policy:
  • Upon agreement with all property owners listed on the Thassos Vacation Rentals website for better service and customer information, the following refund policy has been established:
  • Reservation Cancellation:
  • Guests have the right to cancel their reservation at least 20 days before the scheduled check-in date.
  • In the event of a cancellation with less than a 20-day notice period before the scheduled check-in date, then guests do not qualify for a refund of the deposit they have paid for the reservation.
  • Refund Process:
  • Guests can cancel their reservation and request a full refund up to 20 days before the check-in date.
  • Cancellations within 20 days or less of the scheduled check-in date are non-refundable..
  • This extended notice period of 20 days aims to provide property owners with the opportunity to secure alternative bookings and minimize potential revenue loss.
  • NOTE: Some accommodations on the website only refund 15% of the deposit in case of reservation cancellation regardless of the date.The accommodations that follows this policy feature this note at the bottom of their pricing table.
  • If the customer does not show up for check-in without providing cancellation notice within the allowable timeframe for a refund, then no refund will be issued.
  • If the customer chooses to leave early for any reason during their stay, they will incur a 50% charge for the remaining days of the reservation.
  • In the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters or pandemics, a full refund may be granted.
  • Refund Timeline:
  • In case of deposit refund, the customer is responsible for the transfer charges.
  • Refunds will be processed promptly after the cancellation request, and it will take 5-7 business days for the funds to be returned.
